Denver Broncos at Chicago Bears
Quarterback Jay Cutler and coach John Fox will be against their former team this weekend when the Broncos visit Soldier Field. Cutler spent three seasons at Mile High (2006-2008), and Fox worked the past four years and led Denver to Super Bowl XLVIII. The series between these teams is tied with seven victories apiece, and the Bears won the last game in Chicago eight years ago. The Broncos have not won at Soldier Field since 1993 when John Elway was in charge of the offense. Although the Broncos have a better team, they are favorites for less than a field goal, listed -2.5 to win this game. In the last five matches of the series, Gary Kubiak’s squad is 3-2 SU and 0-3-2 ATS.
Player to watch: Quarterback Jay Cutler finished 2014 with the most interceptions thrown (18), so another bad season could be the end of his era with the team from the Windy City.
